Kevin Lartey who scored his first of the season for Royal W. Bassett Town Dev in their 8-0 win over Marlborough Town

It was a busy midweek in the Premier Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League including a hastily re-arranged game between Calne Town Reserves and Odd Down Reserves following Calne Town first team being given a game in the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup. A big thank you to both sides for their co-operation in getting the game moved at such short notice. The game between the two sides on Wednesday night was an entertaining affair. Calne were reduced to ten men as early as the tenth minute of the game and then found themselves trailing 2-0 to goals from James Payton and Marley Carpenter. Odd Down had further chances to make sure of the points but they were left to rue those missed chances as the ten men from Calne got themselves back on level terms, the equaliser coming in the last minute. Kian Fulford is in a rich vein of goal scoring form and netted for the third consecutive game and a second of the season from Jake Brand saw the two sides share the points as it finished 2-2.
The previous night Stratton Juniors continued their recent good form with a 2-1 away win at Devizes Town Reserves, their fourth victory in their last six games. Leading scorer Corey Cullen has been in great form since his move from Swindon & District League side Redhouse and he was once again amongst the goals for Stratton, scoring his 14th the of the season, Oliver Surridge with the other Stratton goal. The young Devizes side played some neat football all evening and they had the honour of scoring the best goal of the night, not for the first time this season Under 18 player Caleb Hollow hitting a stunning strike from the edge of the eighteen-yard box into the top corner of the net.

In addition to the game at Calne Town on Wednesday night, title chasing Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development were also in action knowing that a win would take them back top of the table. Their opponents Marlborough Town were playing their final game of the season and were looking to improve on their last showing against the same opponents which had seen them beaten 7-0 at Elcot Lane. Unfortunately for them there was to be no happy ending to the season as they found themselves trailing 6-0 at the break. However, an improved second half showing limited the damage to just two more goals as it finished 8-0 to the home side who duly moved back top of the table. Dale Richards, who had scored five on Saturday at Melksham, was once again amongst the goals helping himself to another hat-trick, leading scorer Matt Bennett bagged a brace and there were further goals from Tyler Sheppard, Mani Mesas and a first of the season from Kevin Lartey.
