Since the last update there have been two more new managers appointed to clubs in the Premier Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League and one more club seeking a new manager.
Having taken on the role of Head of Football at Marlborough Town, then having quickly appointed a new manager to replace himself, a month later Andy Ealey has now departed Marlborough to take up the hot seat at Purton, replacing Wayne Petrie. Purton were once one of the top teams in the county, winning the Wiltshire Senior Cup on seven occasions, and Ealey will look to try and restore some of that past glory at the Red House after a difficult few seasons for the club.
Devizes Town Reserves have also announced their new management team for the forthcoming season. Tom Bull takes over from Ollie Gee who will be part of the First Team management team at Devizes this coming season. Bull, who played four games for Devizes Town Reserves in the Fountain Trophies Cup at the end of Season 2020-21 under Gee, will be assisted by Jason Muir and Dale Youens-Rowland. With a new management teams for both the first team and reserves, plus a new Under 18 team and a strong veterans’ side, Devizes Town feel like a club on an upward trajectory.
Whilst two clubs have found new managers for the forthcoming season there is now another cub in search of a new first team manager. Over the weekend Lambourn Sports announced that manager Dan Broadbank, who had successfully led the club from the North Berks League back into senior football, would be leaving to join Hellenic Premier Division side Shrivenham as part of the new management team at Barrington Park.
