League champions Devizes Town U18 with the league trophy
Whilst the finalists were already decided ahead of last night’s games there was still one game to complete in each of the two cup groups.
In Group A, Royal Wootton Bassett Town consolidated their second place finish in the group with a 3-0 home win over New College Swindon thanks to goals from Charlie Stammers, Harry Farrow and a 13th of the season from leading scorer Kevin Prouse. The win for the home side meant they had won all four games between the two sides this season.

It was a similar story in Group B where Devizes Town continued their domination of the group with their fourth victory over Radstock Town this season, although it was a tight affair in this latest meeting, the game being decided by a solitary goal from Devizes’ Dan Bowyer, his sixth of the campaign. Devizes finished unbeaten in their group, some nine points clear of Radstock who finished second. Devizes will now meet AFC Aldermaston in the final at Corsham Town a week on Saturday, 7th May kick-off at 3.00PM. Well done to all eight teams for getting all the group games in the cup competition played in such a timely fashion.
Ahead of last night’s game Devizes were presented with the League winners’ trophy and individual player trophies and are now 11 games unbeaten in all competitions, the last side to defeat them…. AFC Aldermaston. It should be an interesting cup final in just over a week’s time.
