There was a high scoring game at Sutton Park where

Division One
The one game played in Division One was something of a one-sided local derby affair between
Cricklade Town and
Purton with game seeing 20 goals, 19 of which were scored by Cricklade. Having lost by an even bigger margin to Down Ampney, Purton are clearing struggling at the moment in terms of being able to field a competitive side, although arguably they have played two of the strongest sides in the division in those two heavy defeats. It was a bumper night for Cricklade’s Josh Parsons who scored 12 of those Cricklade goals, Obi Nwoke helped himself to a hat-trick and there were further goals from Harry Ayers, Ryan Latham, Daniel Dicks and Kai Robinson. The Purton consolation goal was scored by Ryan Ambler. Purton are back in action on Saturday when they entertain another side struggling at the bottom of the table, Stratton Juniors, where both sides will be hoping to turn around their difficult starts to the season. Cricklade meanwhile will have a tougher game in prospect when Devizes Town Reserves, who have won four of their opening five fixtures, are the visitors to the Leisure Centre.
