Last week saw the final two quarter final games played in the U18 Floodlight Division League Cup and both games resulted in comfortable wins. On Thursday night at Amesbury Town, Swindon Supermarine ran out 6-1 winners to book their place in the last four.

The following night it was FC Chippenham’s turn to book their place in the semi-final with a 7-1 home win over Devizes Town.

The draw for the semi finals was made by League Chairman Brian Busson and League Secretary Jim Thorn and it sees Swindon Supermarine at home to Wims 11 and Calne Town will be home to FC Chippenham, with both games scheduled for Thursday 10th April.

As well as the cup games there were three fixtures in the league. It was a busy week for FC Chippenham as they also had a league fixture on Monday night, and they secured a narrow 2-1 win over Bishops Cannings at Green Lane to temporarily close the gap to leaders Radstock Town to eight points ahead of Radstock’s game on Thursday night.

The same night Kintbury Rangers recorded their biggest win of the season, a 7-1 home victory over Wims 11 to move above their beaten opponents in the table.

There was one game on Thursday night and it saw Radstock Town restore their 11 point lead at the top of the table with a 2-0 home win over Calne Town, that is now 16 straight league wins for Radstock who will be crowned champions this coming Thursday if they defeat FC Chippenham, the only side who can pip them to the title.
