Club History

Bratton FC started life as Three Daggers FC in the Trowbridge & District League in Season 2016-17. That first season in Division 2 of the Trowbridge & District League was to be an incredibly successful season which saw Three Daggers crowned as champions. It was close though with Calne Eagles pushing them all the way and goal difference being needed to separate the two sides.

Both teams were promoted but found life in Division One somewhat tougher, Three Daggers finishing in eighth place, one place above Calne Eagles. The next three seasons saw Three Daggers in mid-table, but a second league title was to be secured in Season 2021-22 when now called The Duke they won 16 of their 18 league fixtures to finish nine points clear of second placed Hilperton United. The title success could not be repeated in Season 2022-23 with The Duke finishing in third place well adrift of the top two.

At the end of the season Bratton made the decision to move across to the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League with another change of name, this time to Bratton FC. Season 2023-24 was to be a successful season for the club with a run all the way to the final of the Wiltshire Junior Cup. Unfortunately, they found Bemerton Heath Harlequins Reserves too strong on the day falling to a 3-0 defeat in the final at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground. Bratton were also going well in the league, the run to the cup final saw Bratton fall behind with their league fixtures. In the end they were to finish in fourth place, just seven points off top spot with three draws in their final six games denying them a runners-up spot.
